AI has become the newest collaborator in tech and creative spheres. At Mahalo, we’re exploring what it means to embrace this technology — both as innovators and as stewards of impactful creativity.

We use AI as a thought partner. With conversational AI platforms like ChatGPT or Gemini, we enhance and make our ability to brainstorm, create moodboards, make quick copy changes even more efficient. This virtual brainstorming and ideation process is not a substitute for our human to human collaboration, of course.

We also use AI in the creative cycle. Built-in features within programs like the Adobe Suite help us scale production by quickly recoloring or expanding layouts. We also explore generative AI for unique visuals in specific cases. Features of AI and GenAI are only explored when they align with a client’s brand standards.

As an Ai-ready agency partner that embraces the use of AI, we find that we maintain two perspectives while reflecting on it and while actually using it.

Perspective One: Enthusiastic

At Mahalo, we see AI as an accelerator for imagination and impact. It’s a tool that expands what’s possible — helping us move efficiently and ideate expansively. By weaving AI into our creative and strategic processes, we can unlock new ways to deliver value for our clients: sharper insights, scalable workflows, and more time spent on the work that inspires connection and drives results.

That means we’re using large language models to enhance brainstorming and as a thought partner, within built-in Adobe tools for ease of graphic creation, or for documents that need to be edited by non-designer folk that make handoffs more smooth, to name a few use cases.
