We celebrated Maholiday 2014 at Della Santina’s Restaurant in Sonoma Square. Friend and owner Rob Della Santina and his staff transported us to the magical, walled city of Lucca, Italy where his family and my family come from. The Tuscan inspired food was phenomenal – with special call out to the polenta and meatballs and best melanzane anywhere. More, Rob and his staff create the feeling that you are in their home – familia- and that time does not exist as you soak in the amazing food and drink in the moment. And to think we didn’t have to hop on a plane to experience authentic Italy. Mahalo Rob!
